We believe in the democracy of the church and that every member is equal. (Acts 1:14-15) We believe that GOD has given the pastor as a gift to the church. He is to oversee, lead, preach, teach, correct, and pray for the church. The church is to respect, follow, obey, accept correction from, and pray for the pastor (Eph 4:11-15, II Tim 4:1-5, I Thes 5:12-13, Hebrews 13:17) We believe and accept as ordinances, only the two, ordered by Jesus Christ, which symbolize the death, burial, and ressurrection of CHrist; namely, Baptism and the Lord's Supper or Communion (Matt 28:19-20, Romans 6:3-5, I Cor. 11:23-26). We believe in the second coming of Christ (John 14:1-4, Acts 1:11), the immortality of the human soul (I Cor. 15:53-55), the resurrection of the body (I Cor. 15:42-44), the final judgement of a just GOD (Matt 25:31-33), and the never ending punishment of the lost and the eternal bliss of the saints (Matt 25:34-36).
